I love the fair, a lot.

I used my film camera a bit this summer and only got the pictures processed today. The giant oak was taken today at Lichgate.

maternity shoot: Carly & Ben (& Olivia)

Carly and I went to the same elementary school, although she was something like 5 years ahead of me. I moved, then moved again, then something like 8 years later, she moved to where I lived at the time. She became my sunday school teacher. Then she moved, then I moved - to the same town again! But we never hung out until the day, last week, that I photographed her baby bump!

engagement: Andrea & Mike

Freshman year, I met my high school friend's roommates during the first week of school. By sophomore year, the roommates had become two of my best friends. It is wonderful to see Andrea in peaceful, happy love. Mike proposed at the park where we took the engagement photos. It's fitting that some photos are of them in gym clothes, as exercising and hiking is a primary way that they bond.

These photos make my heart warm.
